Hillbilly Overland caters to those who are new to Overlanding or are unsure of how to get started Overlanding. John (Aka Redbeard) writes a blog covering overland tips and tricks, gear and gear reviews, and even a few funny stories along the way. His shop is budget-friendly and caters to those new to Overlanding with products that serve a specific purpose as a part of an Overlander’s journey.

We love our friends over at Hillbilly Overland. Their goals and aspirations ring true to the same sense of community that’s important to us. In fact, John one of our original community members. His insights have helped with both the inception and the growth of this community into what it is today. He’s a great trail guide and patient teacher. If you get a chance, make sure to go on one of his adventures, they never disappoint!

There’s plenty of adventures to be seen on the jeepnamedsulley social media accounts. Our founder Matt previously shared much of his adventures under the name jeepnamedsulley on social media. Jeeps, camping, that type of stuff. You won’t find him as active under jeepnamedsulley these days – but rather on our own Dirt Nerds & Radios social media. Make sure to follow both to catch all of the juicy details of our adventures!
