The Dirt Nerds & Radios Radio Club (DNR RC) is a community-oriented club. Our club call is W8DNR. We believe in engaging in amateur radio pursuits in accordance with FCC Part 97 Rules and Regulations, promoting the evolution of radio technology, and encouraging scientific exploration within the amateur radio community. But the fun doesn’t stop there.
DNR RC pursues facilitating the incorporation of amateur radio technology in outdoor activities as it is a vital aspect of keeping the hobby alive. While amateur radio can be used anywhere, use of amateur radio technology during outdoor activities promotes safety and enhances communication capabilities beyond what many may consider possible during such endeavors.
DNR RC offers a community experience with educational initiatives, information exchange, collaboration, and innovation within the amateur radio technology space. Our activities focus not only on advancing our members skills as operators, but also amateur radio operations and technology at-large for the advancement of amateur radio technology as a whole.
Membership in the Club shall be open to all individuals participating within the Dirt Nerds & Radios community. As part of fostering an inclusive environment, members will be considered regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion, or disability.
