It’s official, Dirt Nerds & Radios has its own official Amateur Radio Club. Callsign W8DNR.
The Club is established as another portion of our community-oriented efforts & will be facilitating the incorporation of amateur radio technology into all manner of activities. For some of our community events, such as our off-roading activities, it is vital to safety to have reliable communications. Dirt Nerds & Radios advocates for amateur radio technologies as they provide the most potential, practical application, and educational value to those who pursue it. We hope some of the efforts made by Dirt Nerds & Radios and our club community will help to promote the evolution of radio technology and encourage further exploration into its advancement.
We’d like to congratulate our newly elected club officers. the following elections were made during the meeting on December 9th, 2023:
- President – Adam Ander KE8LKJ
- Vice President – Tyler Mounce KE8LKG
- Secretary – Wayne Coulter
- Treasurer – Matt Lehrian W8OOF
Membership details are still being finalized by the club officers. However, you should stop by our Discord server if you are interested in joining our club or community. For now, there will be no requirement for members to attend any regular meetings. In lieu, the members must participate in other activities offered through the club.
